We want all our players to enjoy AQW the way it is meant to be. It absolutely is NOT allowed! It hurts the game and other players. Many players don't know that botting is not allowed. It is easy to understand why - it is unfair to legit players who put the time and effort into the game, it takes time away from building the game to deal with botting/cheating/hacking issues, and.ALL massively multiplayer games have a problem with them, and they are, and always have been against the rules.A bot or "autoer" is a program built by someone else that plays the game for you.
Thousands of players are banned every week for botting, which tells us a couple things. We have always tried to reduce the ways that botters can exploit the game, and take action against the players who choose to use 3rd party programs (bots, shop/quest loaders, auto-kills). (When you play a game with other people, giving yourself an unfair advantage directly impacts other players.) We make AQWorlds for and with our players, and we love that so many of you love the game!
